Overview
SecureTime GEO Services are GEO satellite timing services from VIAVI that provide two timing source options: 5 ns GEO-enhanced GNSS (eGNSS) and alternate GNSS (altGNSS). The services are offered through a partnership with an Inmarsat services provider.
The services are designed to complement existing GNSS while providing an independent and resilient timing source. VIAVI has field tested signal resiliency in active jamming and spoofing environments, positioning the services as an alternative to GNSS timing.
The services are used with VIAVI timing equipment such as the SecurePNT 6200 Series, the SecurePNT EdgeGM 7000 grandmaster clock and the GEOL-2600 standalone timing receiver module. The JLTerm software is available for download in support of these products.
