Overview

The UPG-ONX-620TSX-720-BB is a mainframe upgrade package in the VIAVI OneExpert HFC (ONX-720/730) family. It moves an existing ONX-620 TSX configuration onto the ONX-720 mainframe. The package includes a broadband optical power meter, a visual fault locator (VFL), OneCheck Ethernet, OneCheck WiFi, 10G SpeedCheck and the ONX 720 TSX software package.

The OneExpert HFC platform tests DOCSIS, Ethernet, PON and WiFi 7 throughput up to 10 Gbps. VIAVI Test Process Automation (TPA) gives technicians a one-button OneCheck workflow that returns pass/fail results, and saved results are geo-tagged.

The ONX-720/730 keeps the RF and DOCSIS testing capabilities of the ONX-620/630 and works with the existing ONX DOCSIS/RF modules. The mainframe is IP54 rated, drop-tested and modular, and it can be upgraded for 25G/50G PON and DOCSIS 4.0. It also has integrated GPS, StrataSync and mobile app support, and runs on a field-replaceable 96 W/hr battery.

Upgrade packages ship with a protective fitted case and Cat6A M-F and M-M jumpers. The AC charger is not included as standard; it is the same charger used by the OneExpert CATV.
