Overview
The Anritsu MA244xD Series are standard diode power sensors for use with the ML2430, ML2480 and ML2490 series power meters. They are designed for high dynamic range, high accuracy CW and TDMA measurements.
Each sensor has a built-in 3 dB attenuator that minimizes input VSWR. The sensors are intended for applications that require high measurement accuracy over a large dynamic range, such as amplifier measurements.
The MA244xD sensors have a dynamic range of 87 dB, compared with 90 dB for the MA247xD standard diode sensors. In all other respects their performance is identical to the standard diode sensors. The series includes three models, MA2442D, MA2444D and MA2445D, covering frequency ranges up to 18 GHz, 40 GHz and 50 GHz respectively. Calibration factors are stored in the sensor EEPROM.
