Overview

The Anritsu MA2445D is a high accuracy diode power sensor in the MA244xD series, covering 10 MHz to 50 GHz with a V(m) RF connector. It is designed for use with the ML2430, ML2480 and ML2490 series power meters and is intended for high dynamic range, high accuracy CW and TDMA measurements.

The sensor includes a built-in 3 dB attenuator that minimizes input VSWR. This makes it suited to applications where measurement accuracy over a large dynamic range is the priority, such as amplifier measurements.

The MA244xD sensors provide a dynamic range of 87 dB, compared with 90 dB for the MA247xD standard diode sensors; in all other respects their performance is identical to the standard diode sensors. Calibration factors are stored in the sensor's EEPROM.
