Overview
The Anritsu MA2490A is a wideband power sensor in the MA249xA series. It covers 50 MHz to 8 GHz and is designed for use with the ML2480 and ML2490 series power meters.
The sensor measures peak power, crest factor, average power, rise time, fall time, maximum power, minimum power and statistical data of wideband signals. With a 20 MHz video bandwidth and a sampling rate of 64 MS/s when used with the ML2480 and ML2490 series power meters, it is suited to radar and communication signals such as WiMax, WCDMA, WLAN and GSM. CW and average power can be measured down to -60 dBm.
The RF connector is a precision N(m) type with a hexagon coupling nut, so it can be attached with an industry-standard torque wrench.
