Overview
The Anritsu MA249xA Series are wideband power sensors for use with the ML2480 and ML2490 series power meters. The series comprises the MA2490A, covering 50 MHz to 8 GHz, and the MA2491A, covering 50 MHz to 18 GHz.
The sensors measure peak power, crest factor, average power, rise time, fall time, maximum power and minimum power, and provide statistical data on wideband signals. With a 20 MHz video bandwidth and a 64 MS/s sampling rate when used with ML2480 and ML2490 series power meters, they are suited to radar and modulated communication signals such as WiMax, WCDMA, WLAN and GSM.
Each sensor has a precision N(m) RF connector with a hexagon coupling nut, so it can be attached with an industry-standard torque wrench.
