Overview
Positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) equipment for all-domain defense applications has to operate reliably in challenging environments that involve intense vibration, severe shock and extreme temperatures. Under these conditions, integrated modules must be ruggedized and must continue to provide reliable timing when GNSS signals are compromised.
The VIAVI μPNT C-Force GNSS-Integrated Clock is a ruggedized GNSS receiver and oscillator module designed for low SWaP (size, weight and power) applications. It provides various I/O signals and is intended for use in air, ground and sea environments, from military applications to harsh industrial conditions.
The module combines an integrated L1/L2 GNSS receiver with an oscillator, providing timing referenced to UTC in GNSS-locked mode and holdover performance for operation in GNSS-denied environments.
