Overview

The NSC100-HOME-PLUS is the Home Package configuration of the VIAVI Network & Service Companion (NSC-100), a compact, screenless hand-held test device. This package includes the Ethernet test interface together with VIAVI SpeedCheck 1G and Ookla Speedtest 1G throughput tests.

The Network & Service Companion lets technicians and contractors validate both network and service layers before sharing test results with customers and providers. One-button 'OneCheck' tests present results on a single screen and run in under one minute, supporting both less experienced and expert technicians during installation closeout and troubleshooting.

The instrument is operated from a smartphone or tablet through the VIAVI Mobile Tech app over Bluetooth. The Job Manager organises jobs, test results and reports, and reports can be submitted via the StrataSync cloud service or sent directly by email.

Additional test capabilities, such as WiFi, PON, TrueSpeed, iPerf, loopback and TWAMP, are available as separately orderable NSC options.
