Overview
The VIAVI J9026A is a NITRO Core central node listed as the Gen 2 Data Platform Cluster [14TB]. NITRO Core is the VIAVI analytics and assurance portfolio for mobile service providers. It takes a subscriber-centric approach, with service-focused, proactive and unified workflows that produce correlated, app-aware insights.
KPI Database Nodes
The NITRO KPI Database Nodes are deployed as a cluster of at least three nodes, so the system stays redundant and available if a node fails. The nodes store real-time and historical KPI data for performance monitoring and analysis. KPI data is aggregated automatically over time, rolling up from minute-level granularity to hourly and then daily tables to keep storage and retrieval efficient.
Role in the NITRO Core Platform
Data loaders feed KPI data generated by the TSA and TAA agents into the KPI database. The NITRO Core Application Node retrieves the data from the KPI Database Cluster and presents it in web-based applications for monitoring and analysis. The central nodes also store and serve solution telemetry and analytics data, and telemetry dashboards show historical and real-time status information.
The appliance has a 1U form factor, uses dual AC or dual DC power supplies, and supports 2G, 3G, 4G (LTE), 5G, VoLTE/IMS and VoNR technologies.
