Overview

The VIAVI J9025A is a Gen 2 Data Platform Cluster node in the NITRO Core Central Nodes family. NITRO Core is an analytics and assurance platform for mobile networks. It takes a subscriber-centric approach, with service-focused, proactive and unified workflows that produce correlated, application-aware insights.

KPI database cluster

NITRO KPI Database Nodes are deployed as a cluster of at least three nodes, so the system keeps running if one node fails. The nodes store real-time and historical KPI data for performance monitoring and analysis. KPI data is aggregated automatically, rolling up from minute-level granularity to hourly and then daily tables for efficient storage and retrieval.

Role in the NITRO Core platform

Data loaders load KPI data generated by TSA and TAA agents into the database cluster. The NITRO Core Application Node retrieves this data and shows it in web-based applications for monitoring and analysis. The central nodes also store solution telemetry and analytics data. The platform supports 2G, 3G, 4G (LTE), 5G, VoLTE/IMS and VoNR.
