Overview
The VIAVI J9020A is the Multi-function Application node of the NITRO Core Central Nodes. NITRO Core is a VIAVI analytics and assurance portfolio for mobile service providers. It takes a subscriber-centric approach and provides service-focused, proactive and unified workflows with correlated, app-aware insights.
The NITRO Core Application Node manages system topology and configuration. It hosts the application software and web server and delivers web-based applications to multiple concurrent users. KPI data is retrieved from the NITRO KPI Database Cluster and presented in the user interface for monitoring and analysis.
The application node works alongside the KPI Database Nodes. These are deployed as a cluster of at least three nodes for redundancy and store real-time and historical KPI data, aggregated from minute-level to hourly and daily tables. KPI data is collected by NITRO Core Traffic Analysis Agents (TAA) and Traffic Storage Agents (TSA).
The J9020A is a 1U appliance available with AC or DC power and supports 2G, 3G, 4G (LTE), 5G, VoLTE/IMS and VoNR networks.
