Overview

The VIAVI PSDA320-4 is a Fuel Level Sensing System (FLSS) test set and is part of the ground support equipment that VIAVI lists for testing the Airbus A320 Fuel Quantity Indicating System.

It is used to check the thermistors and RTDs in the FLSS. It also provides relay closures that simulate the relay outputs of the FLSCU (Fuel Level Sensing Control Unit). The test set connects at the processor and consists of the PSDA320-3A and PSDA320-3B. The PSDA320-5 connects at the processor and is used with the PSDA320-4 to allow testing there.

VIAVI aircraft-specific interface cables and units are used together with a VIAVI Fuel Quantity Test Set to provide functional testing and troubleshooting of an aircraft's fuel quantity system. For the Airbus A320, VIAVI lists the PSD90-3DC DC Capacitance Test Set, which replaces the discontinued PSD30-2AF.
