Overview
The VIAVI PSDA310-1 Fuel Quantity Interface is aircraft-specific ground support equipment for testing the Airbus A310 Fuel Quantity Indicating System. It gives access to all probes, compensators and total tank capacitance at the tank wall, and connects between the PSD60-2R Fuel Quantity Test Set and the aircraft.
The PSDA310-1 contains three adapter cables. The Inner Tank Adapter Cable gives access to the inner tank probes and compensators. The Center Tank Hi-Z and Lo-Z Adapter Cables give access to the center tank probe and compensator Hi-Z and Lo-Z connections. Each cable connects between the PSDA310-1 and the aircraft.
The PSDA310-2 Level Sensor Tester is used with the PSDA310-1 and connects between the PSDA310-1 and the aircraft. In the VIAVI A310 support equipment list, the PSD90-3AC AC Capacitance Test Set replaces the PSD60-2R.
The PSDA310-1 is one of the VIAVI fuel interfaces, a library of aircraft-specific interface cables and units for rotary-wing and fixed-wing platforms. Used with a VIAVI Fuel Quantity Test Set, these interfaces allow complete functional testing and troubleshooting of the fuel quantity system.
