Overview
The VIAVI PSDA300-4 is a Fuel Quantity Interface listed in the ground support equipment for testing the Airbus A300-600 Fuel Quantity Indicating System (FQIS). It is used to access all probes, compensators and total tank capacitance at the wing spar, or at the wheel well for the center tank.
The interface connects between the PSD60-2R Fuel Quantity Test Set and the aircraft. It is intended for Airbus retrofit aircraft and is not used on aircraft with the Simmonds (UTC) system. For level sensor testing, the PSDA310-2 Level Sensor Tester connects between the PSDA300-4 and the aircraft.
VIAVI aircraft-specific interface cables and units are combined with a VIAVI Fuel Quantity Test Set to provide functional testing and troubleshooting of the aircraft fuel quantity system. The PSD90-3AC AC Capacitance Test Set replaces the PSD60-2R in the A300-600 equipment list.
