Overview
The VIAVI PSDA300-3 is a Fuel Quantity Interface used in ground support testing of the Fuel Quantity Indicating System (FQIS) on Airbus A300-600 and A310 aircraft. It gives access to the probes and compensators of all tanks, and it connects between the PSD60-2R Fuel Quantity Test Set and the aircraft at the front connectors of the FQIS unit.
On the A310, VIAVI lists the PSDA300-3 for measuring total tank capacitance and probe compensator at the FQIS unit front connectors. On the A300-600, it comes with an Extender Cable. This cable connects the interface to the AUX tanks on the aircraft so that total tank capacitance and compensator can be tested.
The PSDA300-3 is one of the aircraft-specific interface cables and units in the VIAVI fuel interfaces range. Paired with a VIAVI Fuel Quantity Test Set, these interfaces provide functional testing and troubleshooting of the aircraft fuel quantity system.
