Overview
The VIAVI PSDA300-1 Fuel Quantity Interface is aircraft-specific ground support equipment for testing the Airbus A300 Fuel Quantity Indicating System. It connects between the PSD60-2R Fuel Quantity Test Set and the aircraft, and gives access to all probes and compensators at the wing spar, or at the wheel well for the center tank.
Which harness the interface works with depends on its modification level. Units at Mod 1 or below connect only to harnesses with Souriau connectors. Units at Mod 2 work only with the Goodrich (UTC) retrofit harness.
The PSDA300-1 ships with two adapter cables. The Level Sensor Cable reaches the center tank level sensors. The Center Tank Cable provides inbound and outbound center tank access on aircraft fitted with the Goodrich (UTC) retrofit. The PSDA310-2 Level Sensor Tester connects between the PSDA300-1 and the aircraft to reach the level sensors of all tanks.
The interface is part of the VIAVI range of aircraft-specific fuel interface cables and units. Used with a VIAVI Fuel Quantity Test Set, it supports full functional testing and troubleshooting of the fuel quantity system. The PSD90-3AC AC Capacitance Test Set replaces the PSD60-2R.
