Overview
The VIAVI PSD40-556XXX is an aircraft-specific interface cable that connects at the tank wall. It is part of the ground support equipment VIAVI lists for testing the ATR 42/72 Fuel Quantity Indicating System.
On pre-MOD 1666 ATR-42 aircraft, the cable allows measurement of probes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. On post-MOD 1666 ATR-42 aircraft, it allows measurement of probes 2, 3, 4 and 5.
VIAVI offers a library of aircraft-specific interface cables and units for rotary and fixed-wing platforms. When paired with a VIAVI Fuel Quantity Test Set, such as the PSD90-3AC AC Capacitance Test Set, these cables support functional testing and troubleshooting of the fuel quantity system.
