Overview
The EVOIA Drive Test BPACK-EER19 is a portable backpack for pedestrian drive testing, designed for use in any location or environment, including inside buildings. To deploy it, the operator switches the unit on, leaves it running in unattended mode and walks the route to be tested.
Each backpack is packaged with 3 MNO modems or 2 radio modules and a scanner. Trace data from the modems and radio modules is collected continuously throughout the test execution and enables analysis of 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G networks. Test runs can be conducted as single events or as part of a regular schedule.
Collected data can be uploaded over a USB/Ethernet connection to a central server for deeper analysis. Data from several campaigns, from the same or several backpacks or from other drive test solutions, can be aggregated. After post-processing, data can be exported in .csv format for use in third-party applications.
The BPACK-EER19 is part of the VIAVI EVOIA Drive Test family, used to validate, test and optimize mission critical communications (MCx) and railway telecom networks, with results displayed in the EVOIA Assure monitoring and troubleshooting platform. It is available in Rail (R) and MCX/MNO (M) configurations.
