Overview
Master Software Tools (MST) is PC-based software from Anritsu used to capture, analyze and document traces and measurements taken with a wide range of Anritsu handheld spectrum analyzers. It handles spectrum and spectrogram traces, Channel Scanner displays, transmission measurements, Transmitter Signal Quality measurements and backhaul tests.
Capture
MST transfers an instrument's trace data to a PC for further analysis. Once on the PC, the files can be shared electronically.
Analyze
The software provides marker functions for illustrating issues or making detailed trace measurements. Spectrum and spectrogram concatenation allows captured trace data to be viewed over an extended time scale of hours or days, supporting analysis of captured data when looking for anomalies. Y-axis scale conversions allow post-capture adaptation of the data for its intended purpose.
Report
MST can print one or many plots in a variety of formats. Traces can also be exported to a PDF report showing the trace together with the measurement parameters and device information.
