MX725000A LTE V2X PC5 Communication Software for C-V2X Testing
PC software for laboratory testing of C-V2X V2V and V2I communications over the ITS-band PC5 interface using a reference module and GNSS simulator.
Overview
The Anritsu MX725000A LTE V2X PC5 Communication Software is part of a cellular V2X (C-V2X) test solution for laboratory tests that reproduce real driving conditions. It tests vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) communication functions over the ITS-band PC5 interface.
The software links a C-V2X communications reference module and a GNSS simulator with the Tata Elxsi V2X Emulator. Together they allow graphical evaluation of PC5 communications without programming test scenarios. Conventional test environments of this kind were expensive and needed scenario programming, which limited engineers' access to evaluation resources and bench time.
Through partnerships with companies such as Tata Elxsi, the solution maps multiple vehicles at application level, based on field scenarios that simulate real road layouts. This gives repeatable performance evaluations for laboratory field-driving tests. The software covers fourteen typical use cases defined by national ITS standards and runs up to five simulations at the same time.
