Overview
The Spectrum Master MS2762A-0032 is the 6 GHz to 32 GHz model of the Anritsu MS2762A ultraportable spectrum analyzer line, part of the Spectrum Master MS276xA family. The MS2762A models are designed for higher dynamic range and lower displayed average noise level (DANL) than the MS2760A models, for applications with demanding sensitivity requirements, with frequency coverage starting at 6 GHz.
The family uses Anritsu's patented nonlinear transmission line (NLTL) technology. The pocket-sized instrument connects directly to the device under test, avoiding the loss introduced by long test port cables. The MS2762A-0032 has a K (2.92 mm) male test port connector, compatible with SMA and 3.5 mm connectors.
The analyzer is USB-powered and controlled from a Windows-based PC, laptop or tablet, so it can be used in the lab, on the manufacturing floor or in the field. Measurements include channel power, adjacent channel power and occupied bandwidth, with spectrum and spectrogram displays, an external 10 MHz frequency reference input and an external TTL trigger input.
